We’ve rolled out new features and improvements to make guest photo sharing easier, event setup faster, and moderation even more seamless. Here’s what’s new this month.
Brand New & Improved Album Experience
We’ve completely revamped the way albums feel and function—bringing you a native, app-like experience inspired by the best in the industry, like Google Photos and Apple Photos.
Photos and videos now load instantly, and navigating through your memories is smoother than ever. Swipe left or right to browse, use arrow keys on desktop, or zoom in with a pinch or double tap—it all just works.
We believe Kululu now offers the most seamless, intuitive photo viewing experience of any event photo-sharing platform. Try it out and feel the difference.
Smarter Photo Management
We’ve made it much simpler to manage your uploads. You can now easily see which photos are published, which are pending approval, and which are private. This clearer structure helps you stay organized and quickly find what you’re looking for—no more guessing what’s visible to your guests.
New Sorting Options
Finding the right photo just got easier. You can now sort uploads by the date they were taken or the date they were added to your album. Whether you’re organizing event memories chronologically or reviewing recent guest uploads, these new sorting options give you more control and clarity when browsing your album.
Export Guest Information
Need to keep track of who’s attending or follow up after the event? You can now export all guest details collected through the Welcome Screen—including names, emails, and any custom questions you’ve added.
This gives you full flexibility to manage your event data, send thank-you notes, or analyze guest engagement outside of Kululu.
General Bug Fixes
And we also had some small fixes here and there:
One button to upload them all
We simplified the upload process—now there’s a single button for both photos and videos, making it quicker and easier for your guests to share their memories.
Slideshow screen stays on
No more blackouts during your live event! The screen will now stay awake when running a slideshow, so your photo wall keeps shining non-stop.
Organized captioned photos
When you download all your event photos, captioned versions are now neatly placed in a separate folder—because a little extra organization goes a long way.
Faster & more reliable “Download All”
We’ve improved the “Download All” feature to handle large events with thousands of uploads more efficiently. Downloads are now faster, more reliable, and less likely to timeout—even with big albums.
